I hope everyone had a good New Year's Eve. This is just a really rough fast painting. Mainly just messing with the textures of brushes and paper texture. Trying new things.
The texture reminds me of soft pastel with a few edges appearing as though someone had brushed water on top of it. Have fun playing with those textures! Are you using painter or Photoshop? I have a really good tutorial that teaches how to make different texture brushes in Photoshop. (I used that method in my Waking the Giants piece.)
