Alex! I'm so glad that you were able to put finish your changes on this really special piece. The way that you painted Sam's hand that is touching her fingers is exquisite. It reminds me of a Renaissance hand. There is a variation of the amount of board showing through across the piece which doesn't bother me, except I would like to see the same amount of paint on her hand that is touching Sam's as is on Sam's. It seems like her hand is also an important part and deserves the same amount of coverage. The only other thing that stands out to me is the dark spiky plant in the middle ground on the left. It has been given a lot of value contrast which makes it a little more important than I think you want it to be. I would probably just lighten up the value on that and maybe soften the edges slightly. Keep it coming!
