Been working on designing a Happy Birthday card that pleases all audiences, for the Hallmark contest. I found that to be quite difficult, so I ended up doing so handwritten typography which I then vectored in illustrator. Now to determine colors. Plus, I think I may change the "y" on Happy because it is starting to bug me.

Hey Katie! Good work! I'm impressed. I really like how it seems to have just enough craziness to keep it exciting without having too much. I really like the way that the colors/values are working in the one with the white background, so I'm going to have to say that is my favorite one right now. However, I think with a little adjustments to the colors and values of the colored background piece to make the letters pop out a little bit more, I could be convinced to choose that one.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I like the white background one too. I may mess around with the colored background one more.
ReplyDeleteI likey! Especially the p's, they look like they are floating. I would agree about the y though, I would change that.
